Who Can Compete
- Any university student, anywhere in the world full-time undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate
- Diverse teams of exactly 5 students representing at least 3 disciplines and 2 institutions
- Free to apply and participate no entry fees, no barriers, and IP stays with the team

Wege Prize teams are challenged to collaboratively propose and develop a product, service, or business/
- Phase 1 / Apply August 3 – October 4 90 teams accepted
- Phase 2 / Incubate October – December 30 teams advance
- Phase 3 / Validate January – February 15 semifinalists
- Phase 4 / Present March – May 5 finalists
